background   Goat anti-biotin is a secondary antibody conjugated to DyLight®488, which binds to biotin in immunological assays. Antibody is affinity purified using solid phase biotin. DyLight®488 has Amax = 493 nm; Emax = 518 nm.

storage   Store freeze dried powder at 2-8°C. Product is stable for up to 4 weeks at 2-8°C after rehydration. For extended storage after rehydration, add an equal volume of glycerol and store at -20°C. Rehydrate with 1.1 ml of deionized water. Prepare fresh working dilution daily.

recommended dilution This conjugate is suitable for immunomicroscopy and flow cytometry. The optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator. Suggested starting dilution(s): 1:20 - 1:2000 for most applications.
additional information   Purity of this preparation is > 95% based on SDS-PAGE. Antibody concentration is 1.0 mg/ml (E 1% at 280 nm = 13.0). Antibody is supplied in 10 mM sodium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2.1 % (w/v) B, Protease/IgG free. Contains 0.05% (w/v) sodium azide as preservative of bacterial growth.
