Background

GSNO; S-nitrosoglutathione belongs to a family of molecules involved in nitrosative stress. GSNO is a natural source of nitric oxide (NO). S-nitrosylation reaction of NO with GSH leads to formation of S-nitroso glutathione (GSNO). Selected references: Barroso et al (2006). Localization of S-nitrosoglutathione and expression of S-nitrosoglutatione reductase in pea plants under cadmium stress.  J Exp Bot. 2006;57(8):1785-93. Valderrama et al (2007). Immunogen

Synthetic Nitroso-L.Glutathione conjugated to protein carrier (PC).

Host Rat
Clonality Polyclonal
Clone
Purity Total IgG purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation.
Format Lyophilized present in PBS pH 7.35.
Quantity 1 mg
Reconstitution For reconstitution, mix 50 µl of distilled water with 50 µl of glycerol and add this mixture to the lyophilized antibody.
Storage

store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized material adhering to the cap or sides of the tubes.

Tested applications immunocytochemistry (ICC), ELISA (ELISA)
