Background

GSNO; S-nitrosoglutathione belongs to a family of molecules involved in nitrosative stress. GSNO is a natural source of nitric oxide (NO). S-nitrosylation reaction of NO with GSH leads to formation of S-nitroso glutathione (GSNO). Selected references: Barroso et al (2006).
