| background |
|
Abscisic acid (ABA) is a plant hormone involved in different physiological responses as stimulation of the closure of stomata (water stress brings about an increase in ABA synthesis), iInhibition of shoot growth, and many others. ABA shown to have both inhibitory as well as many promoting functions. |

store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; this aliquote can be freezed and thawed for up to five times and showed stability for at least 2 years. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized material adhering to the cap or sides of the tubes. |

application example
ABA localization in 5 days old roots of Arabidopsis thaliana. ABA signal is shown in red, PIN2 signal shown in green, DAPI in blue. The material has been fixed with 4 % EDAC for 10 min followed by EDAC and para-formaldehyde. Tissue cleaning has been performed before immunolocalization. Rabbit anti-ABA primary antibody diluted in 1: 400, ALEXA 555 conjugated anti-rabbit secondary antibody, diluted 1: 700 (Invitrogen). Co-staining with DAPI visualized nucleus (blue color).
