Xyloglucan endotransglucosylases (Xet) are a class of enzymes capable of catalyzing the molecular grafting between xyloglucans and/or the endotype hydrolysis of a xyloglucan molecule in plant cell wall. XET protein resides in the primary cell wall and at least some of the enzyme molecules are covalently attached to the xyloglucan and dissociate from it when another xyloglucan molecule is available to make a new glycosidic bond. The enzyme can be easily eluted from cell wall with low salt buffers. |

| storage |
|
store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized material adhering to the cap or sides of the tubes. |
