application example - Western blot


Experimental conditions:

Blotting with rabbit anti-rat alpha-1-inhibitor 3. Ten ml of rat plasma, diluted 200 times with PBS, and 20 ng purified rat alpha-1-inhibitor 3 were separated on a 9% polyacrylamide gel, transferred to a PVDF membrane, blocked, incubated 2 h at RT with anti-alpha-1-inhibitor 3 IgG, 1 mg/ml, washed and then incubated for 30 min with swine anti-rabbit IgG-HRP and washed. The membrane was developed using the ECL system.
