Application examples

Additional information

The antibody has been used as a detecting antibody in ELISA against Enbrel attached to the surface. It gave a good signal and suggested dilution for this experiment is 1: 1000 – 1 : 5000.

The antibody has no reactivity against TNF alfa. Up to date no tests have been done against TNFR1.

Total IgY concentration for this antibody is 20 mg/ml

Background

Etanercept (Enbrel^®), is a recombinant human tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFRSF1B). Enbrel^®consist of the extracellular ligand-binding portion of TNFRSF1B linked to an immunoglobulin Fc chain. It binds to TNF-alpha and blocks its interactions with receptors.
