Application example

Rat brain homogenate (15 µg). Overnight incubation of PVDF membrane with Pen-2 antibody (5 µg/ml) in PBS containing 1% BSA. Horseradish peroxidase-conjugated, anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used for detection.

Background

One characteristic feature of Alzheimer’s disease is the deposition of amyloid-beta peptide (Abeta) as amyloid plaques within specific regions of the human brain.
