Global Antibodies are raised against peptides which are conserved in the target protein across a range of species. This intelligent design generates antibodies with quantitative target recognition across a defined range of species. • Related Products: Global Quantitation Standards allow accurate measurement of levels of the target protein from any species within the defined taxonomic range because the antibody recognition region is the same in the standard and in the sample protein. Applications • Detection of major proteins with standard detection efficiency from a range of sources, including uncharacterized species of cyanobacteria, phytoplankton or plants. • Tracking environmental acclimation in plants or in phytoplankton, when mixed sources of photosynthetic proteins are present at variable levels. • Tracking or predicting maximal capacities for major photosynthetic and biosynthetic processes in communities.
