Season's greetings from Agrisera

Agrisera X-mas gift 2018

This Christmas Agrisera made a donation to Vi Agroforestry, a Swedish aid organization that has been working for tree planting and poverty reduction in east Africa for over 35 years. Last year, Vi Agroforestry planted over 5 million trees, combating poverty and climate change. This way, the lives of 2.3 mln people were considerably improved.

We are proud to contribute!

Agrisera Prize 2018 awarded

Agrisera Prize 2018

Dr. Sascha Escamez received the UPSC Agrisera Prize 2018 for his exemplary brilliant scientific work, an extraordinary contribution in upgrading the UPSC microscopy platform and being a positive impact in, and an excellent ambassador for the UPSC (Umeå Plant Science Centre). Announcement was done during the Christmas lunch.

The UPSC Agrisera Prize is awarded every year to a PhD student, Postdoc or technitian at UPSC for outstanding scientific achievement and contributions to improve the UPSC working environment. This year the prize was presented by Dr. Joanna Porankiewicz-Asplund from Agrisera and by the chair of the UPSC Professor Catherine Bellini.
