Agrisera Best Poster Prize Awardees at the 12th International Conference on Plant Mitochondrial Biology (ICPMB)

Our warmest congratulations to PhD students Rokas Kubilinskas from the Institute of Molecular Biology of Plants, CNRS, France and Ke Zheng from the Institute for Plant Biology and Biotechnology, University of Münster in Germany, who were awarded the Agrisera Best Poster Prize, during the 12th International Conference on Plant Mitochondrial Biology (ICPMB), held the 22nd to 27th of May in Malmö, Sweden. 

The title of the awarded poster of Rokas Kubilinskas was "Use of mitoTALEN to explore mitochondrial DNA segregation and repair".

The title of the poster of Ke Zheng was "Plant mitochondria as remote-controllers of (epi-)genetic regulation in the nucleus by NAD-mediated signaling".

Celebrate The Fascination of Plants Day, 18th of May with Agrisera

18th of May is The Fascination of Plants Day, celebrated worldwide with many activities. 

Celebrate with Agrisera by participating in Agrisera's Quiz on plant/algal cell biology and antibodies. The winner will be awarded a free antibody of their choice!

Each year, Agrisera ships thousands of free-of-charge educational posters, developed together with leading scientists in the field. Specific figures and schemes from these posters can also be downloaded for free

Agrisera supports The Global Plant Events Calendar hosted by Plantae/ASPB, which gives an overview of over 200 plant science conferences, workshops and webinars each year.

The winners of Agrisera Quiz following Western blot workshop at Biochemistry Course


Our warmest congratulations to master students Annika Paulick and Daniel Nässén, at the course "Biochemistry: Protein Separation Methods and Analytical Techniques", held at Department of Chemistry, Umeå University, Sweden, who scored a 10/10 on the Agrisera Antibody and Western blot quiz! The quiz was conducted as a part of Agrisera's lecture on Western blot by Dr. Joanna Porankiewicz Asplund.

As the prize, Annika and Daniel received the book: "Photosynthesis Solar Energy for Life" By Dr. Dmitry Shevela, Prof. Lars Olof Björn, Prof. Govindjee.
