Plantae - the digital ecosystem for plant science

Plantae - the digital ecosystem for plant science

Established by American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB), Plantae is a worldwide network of teachers, students, researchers, farmers, industry leaders and government scientists. It brings together plant scientists to address pressing societal challanges and offers variety of tools to organize a network for the lab, team, department, receive feedback on ideas, join various discussions, upload videos, access seminars and connect with the other plant scientists from around the world.

The community is open to anyone who is working in or is interested in the plant sciences with no restrictions to discipline, background, career phase, or geographic location. Plantae is supported by a hard-working ASPB team and an amazing group of The Plantae Fellows, early to mid-career scientist who volunteer in working with curating and writing content.

In February 2019, Plantae and Agrisera launched The Global Plant Events Calendar, which is currently listing over 140 worldwide meetings, congresses, seminars and workshops and serves as a useful tool for plant scientists in their planning of conference attendance and advertising for the coming meetings.
