Background beta-1,4-glucosidase  (hyperthermophilic enzyme) which is releasing glucose from soluble
soluble glucooligomers, with a preference for longer oligomers; acts more readily on cellotetraose than on cellobiose. Displays similar activities towards the disaccharides lactose and cellobiose.
