Background

Background:

CBP tag comes from muscle myosin light-chain kinase and contains 26 amino acid residues with the molecular weight of 4 kDa. This tag is characterized by the relatively high affinity for calmodulin (CaM), which makes it possible to purify CBP-tagged proteins from crude cell extracts using of a resin with CaM affinity.

This antibody allows detection of CBP-tagged proteins.
