I have used this for WBs successfully in Chlorella vulgaris, PSII enriched membranes from spinach, and Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. All were loaded with 5 ug chl a and blotted using a 1:1000 dilution before ECL detection. We have successfully used it in various projects, for plant (Krieger-Liszkay et al, Physiologia Plantarum 142, 2011) and cyanobacterial (Photochemistry and Photobiology, 89,2013) samples over a decade already.
