Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.Tested applications: ELISA (ELISA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP) Recommended dilution: 1:4000-1:8000 (ELISA), 1:1000-1:32 0000 (WB), 1µg-5 µg (IP) Expected | apparent MW: Depends upon MW of fusion partner - Application Examples
-
Western Blot: Positive WB detected in: E Tagged fusion protein at 50 ng, 2 5ng, 12.5 ng, 6.25 ng, 3.125 ng
E Tag antibody was used at 1:1000 dilution
Secondary: Goat polyclonal to Mouse IgG at 1:10000 dilution
Calculated and apparent MW: 36 kDa
Immunoprecipitating E Tag in 293F transfected whole cell lysate
Lane 1: Mouse control IgG (1 µg) instead of E-tag antibody in 293F transfected whole cell lysate. For Western blotting, a HRP-conjugated Protein G antibody was used as the secondary antibody at the dilution of 1:2000.
Lane 2: Primary antibody (5µg) + 293F transfected whole cell lysate (500 µg)
Lane 3: 293F transfected whole cell lysate (20 µg)
- Additional Information
-
Additional information (application): Antibody is present in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.03% and 50% glycerol. Proclin 300 is included as preservative - Background
-
Background: E-tag monoclonal antibody is designed to specifically recognize and bind to the E-tag peptide. The E-tag is a short peptide sequence used in recombinant protein expression to facilitate the detection, purification, and characterization of tagged proteins. - Protocols
