full length recombinant DnaK2 protein derived from Synechocystis PCC 6803 DnaK2 protein sequence UniProt: P22358
67.6 | 76 kDa
Anabaena sp., Crocosphaera watsonii, Cyanothece sp. PCC 7424, Lyngbya sp. PCC 8106, Microcoleus chthonoplastes PCC 7420, Nodularia spumigena CCY 9414, Nostoc sp., Synechococcus sp. PCC 7942 and other cyanobacterial strains
10 µg of total protein from total cell extract of Synechocystis PCC 6803 wilde type (WT) and mutant strain that lacks Hsp16.6 were separated on 8 % gel and blotted on nitrocellulose membrane. Filters were blocked (1h), incubated with 1:1000 anti-DnaK2 antibodies (2h) followed by incubation with 1: 2500 secondary anti-rabbit (1h) coupled to HRP and visualization with chemiluminescent detection reagent, exposure time was 10 seconds.
This product can be sold containing proclin if requested
DnaK2 belongs to the family of heat shock proteins 70 and functions as a chaperone involved in stress response. Dnak2 is heat induced but also present at high level under normal growth conditions.
