product information

MT1a  (Metallothionein type1) is a cysteine-rich, low molecular mass protein with a metal ion binding function.  Metallothionenins (MTs) are involved in many physiological processes such as metal ion homeostasis, detoxification of excess metals and protection against oxidative stress.

KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide derived from Hordeum vulgare MT1a sequence, UniProt Q8GTD1

Host Rabbit
Clonality Polyclonal
Purity Affinity purified serum
Format Lyophilized
Quantity 50 ĩg
Reconstitution For reconstitution add 50 ĩl of sterile water.
Storage Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized material adhering to the cap or sides of the tubes.
Tested applications Immunolocalization (IL), Western blot (WB)
