  • Immunogen:

soluble domain of Pisum sativum Toc34 overexpressed in E.coli  and purified by His-tag affinity purification. Overexpressed Toc34 is lacking the transmembrane C-terminal domain.

    Host: Chicken
    Clonality: Polyclonal
Purity: Purified, total IgY (chicken egg yolk immunoglobulin) in PBS pH 8. Contains 0.02 % sodium azide.
    Format: Lyophilized
    Quantity: 50 µl
Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 50 µl of sterile water
Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
Tested applications: ELISA (ELISA), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western blot (WB)
    Recommended dilution: 1 : 100 000 (WB)
    Expected | apparent MW:

  • Additional Information
  • Additional information:

Pisum sativum Toc34 (chloroplast form) is Arabidopsis thaliana Toc33 that is expressed in the green leaves.

There is a slight MW shift between PsToc34 and PsToc33 which can be used to identify the dual expression however these two forms of the protein are differentially expressed.

  • Background
  • Background:

Translocon at the outer envelope membrane of chloroplasts – Toc consists of three components: Toc34, Toc86, and Toc75. Toc 75 forms an outer membrane porin that may serve as the outer membrane proteinconducting channel.
