Immunogen: ascorbate oxidase purified from Cucurbita sp.
Host: Rabbit Clonality: Polyclonal Purity: Purified IgG in PBS pH 7.2. Format: Lyophilized Quantity: 10 mg Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 1 ml of sterile water, Allow reconstituted product to stand for at least 30 minutes at room temperature prior to dilution, If necessary, centrifuge to remove any particulates, Prepare fresh working dilution daily Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube. Working dilutions should be stored at 4°C, not refrozen and prefarably used the same day. If slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation, It will not affect the performance of the product. Tested applications: ELISA (ELISA), Western blot (WB) Recommended dilution: 1 : 1000-1 : 30 000 (ELISA), 1 : 1000 (WB) Expected | apparent MW: 61 | 45 kDa (Cucurbita pepo)

Additional information: IgG protein fraction is prepared by ammonium sulphate precipitation and ion exchanged chromatography, N-Hydroxysuccinimidobiotin is used for labelling of antibody Additional information (application): IgG concentration is 10 mg/ml, Biotin/IgG protein molar ratio is approximately 5,6, No foreign proteins are added - Background
-
Background: Ascorbate oxidase (AO) is an apoplastic enzyme involved in metabolism of plant ascorbate (AA). Ascorbate (AA) plays a key role in defense against oxidative stress and is particularly abundant in photosynthetic tissues. Over 90% of the ascorbate is localized in the cytoplasm, but a substantial proportion is exported to the apoplast.
