Subclass/isotype IgG1
Purity Purified by precipitation and chromatography.
Format Liquid at 1 mg/ml.
Quantity 0,1 mg
Storage Store at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. Do not use after expiration date stamped on the label. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
Tested applications ELISA (ELISA), Immunocyto chemistry (ICC), Western blot (WB)
Recommended dilution 1 µg/ml (WB)

Reactivity

Confirmed reactivity Armoracia rusticana, HRP-tagged, recombinant proteins

Application examples

Application examples Western blot using anti-HRP monoclonal antibodies
Purified horse radish peroxidase was separated on SDS gel and transferred to a membrane. Sample was prepared in non-reducing conditions. Primary antibodies were used in dilution 1 µg/ml, followed by washes and incubation with a secondary anti-mouse IgG antibody. Reaction was visualized with chemiluminescence, following manufacture's recommendations.

Additional information

Additional information The antibody binds horseradish peroxidase, It is suitable for preparation of PAP (Peroxidase-Anti-Peroxidase soluble complexes), where three molecules of HRP are complexed with two molecules of anti-HRP antibodies
Immunocytochemistry: this was successfully used for staining of formaldehyde-fixed, Triton-permeabilized cells transfected with HRP gene

Related products

Background

Background Horseradish peroxidase removes hydrogen peroxide, acts in oxidation of toxic reductants, biosynthesis and degradation of lignin, response to environmental stresses such as wounding, pathogen attack and oxidative stress. HRP is also used as an epitope tag, for protein overexpression.
