BIN2 (Brasinosteroid insensitive 2) plays an important role in regulating brassinosteroid signalling which is important for plant growth. It is also implied to mediate auxing signalling pathway. Phosphorylation of BZR1 and BZR2/BES2 by BIN2 increases degradation of these proteins by the proteasome.
