The online workshop “Western blot – a technique possible to optimize” was conducted for researchers from The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center on the 14th of June by Dr. Joanna Porankiewicz Asplund, Agrisera Technical Support Manager. The participants were from different labs at Danforth center, namely the Allen Lab, Bart Lab, Carrington Lab, Eveland Lab, Gehan Lab, Mayer’s Lab, Nusinov Lab, Pandey Lab, Shah Lab, Slotkin Lab, Taylor Lab,  Umen Lab, and Zhang Lab. All who attended had the possibility to get their questions about the Western blot technique answered, and obtain new insights about optimization of this complex technique. The workshop was hosted by the CSTM co-chairs and represented by Dr. Thiya Mukherjee. The workshop was two hours long, with a tea break and the possibility to participate in a quiz with prizes. Each attendee will receive a certificate of attendance, and is very welcome to contact Agrisera with any Western blot and antibody related questions in the future. Agrisera's Educational Posters and Western blot troubleshooting guide were offered to each participant.
